We offer qualitative spherical bearings that have two
rows of symmetrical spherical rollers and a common raceway in the outer
ring. The bearings manufactured by us are acknowledged in the market for
their high load taking capacity and self aligning ability. They have limited
speed tolerating capacity and hence they are used in vibrators, shakers,
conveyors, speed reducers, transmissions, and other heavy machinery. These
spherical bearings are manufactured in varying radial thickness and axial
widths to accommodate different loads. They not only can carry radial loads
but can also carry axial load in two directions.
Double Spherical Roller Bearings from us consists of a
plain bearing, with a ball pushing, inside a cylindrical housing. These
cylindrical housing may have a liner manufactured from different material
which minimizes friction or provides self lubrication. For different load
capacity and lubrication requirement many balls or linear materials are
available. These spherical bearings are maintenance free and are suitable
for applications that involve swivel movement, high alternating loads, very
high radial loads with a unilateral load direction and high shock loads.
Physical Characteristics
- Large bores
- More contact area
- Inner rings to resist cracking
- Allowance for static or dynamic misalignment
- Expansion capabilities

We offer Sealed Spherical Roller Bearings that are used
in case of heavy loads an other unfavorable conditions. The seal consists of
two washers, each attached to the inner and the outer ring. The washer acts
as a flinger when the inner washer rotates. The sealed bearings may have
cylindrical or tapered bores. They are also manufactured for vibrating
screens or exciters which induce accelerations of rollers and cages in the
bearings.
Spherical roller bearings Specifications & Standards
- Dimensions - Boundary dimensions in accordance with ISO
- Tolerance - They are usually meant for normal tolerance but can
be enhanced.

Standard Cage Types: These bearings are available in
cages. The pressed cages are standard for small size bearings and the
machined cages are for the large ones. Newly developed glass fiber cage is
used as a standard for the "E" type bearing. The glass fiber
reinforced polyamide 46 resin, it has excellent heat resistance qualities
(have operating temperature up to 150°C), strength as well as are oil
resistance. A standard cage may not be able to be used for high- speed
specifications, in conditions like high temperatures or excessive
vibration/impact conditions.
Allowable Misalignment - The allowable misalignment angle varies
according to dimension , series & load conditions. The standard
allowable misalignment are:
Normal load (loads equivalent to 0.09 Cr): 0.009rad (0.5°)
Light load: 0.035rad (2°)
Internal Clearance - Spherical Roller Bearings meet the standard
with normal radial internal clearance and are also available with a greater
C3 clearance.
