We manufacture drawn cup, full-compliment needle bearings
in NA / NK/ NKI and NKIS types. They have a deep-drawn cup with a full
compliment of needles. In a few needle bearings, the needles are retained by
the cup lips and in the others they are retained by grease. In the grease
-retained needle bearings , we generally use spherical -ended rollers. Drawn
cup needles have higher speeds and reduced load bearing capacity. They are a
good tolerant to for misalignment. These heavy- duty needle bearings have a
heavy outer ring which increases load capacity. The rollers are cylindrical
rather than being tapered and hence problem of slippage is faced between the
roller and raceway surfaces.
We manufacture needle roller thrust bearings for heavy
axial loads. They are advantageous as they require minimum axial space and a
stiff arrangement. These thrust bearings can accommodate one direction axial
loads. A unique feature of these thrust bearings is that the roller cage and
raceways can all be separated and combines with washers of various designs.
Needle roller and cage thrust assemblies consists of a cage that guides and
retains large number of needle rollers. The rollers have cylindrical
surfaces which are relieved towards the end, so that there is an even
distribution of load and the edges are prevented from damage.
Bearing Washers
The raceway washers are manufactured from hardened carbon chromium (rolling
bearing) steel. They are ground ; the bore and the outside diameter are
turned. They can be used both as a shaft and housing washers for bearing
arrangements.
Thrust washers are manufactured from spring steel. They are hardened and
polished. The thrust washers enable bearing arrangements where the adjacent
machine components cannot be used as raceways, but they do have adequate
stiffness. Shaft and housing washers are required for accurate centering of
the bearing washers and high speed applications.

Misalignment - They are intolerant to any misalignment of shaft with
respect to housing or any angular misalignment

needle roller thrust bearings can be obtained from

Needle roller and cage thrust assemblies include a form-stable steel cage
or sheet steel as a standard. The assemblies that are identified by
designation TN and have injection molded cage of glass fiber reinforced
polymide 6,6 are an exception.
Physical Characteristics

Applications
These roller bearings have precision needle rolling elements which are used
in varied industries in multiple forms. They are used in automotive,truck,
farm and construction equipment, two cycle engines, outboard engines and
consumer durables. These rollers are mainly used as bearing rolling elements
to transmit torque and reduce friction. They can also be used as precision
shafts or precision locating pins.
